Richmond Times Dispatch Highlight

The Richmond Times Dispatch (our local newspaper) wrote a great article on what our local community is doing to raise money for Haiti. A good read - especially to see what the schools in the area are doing.

SHIPPING!!

We easily passed the $5,000 thanks to all the support we've received over the past week. For us over here in Richmond, VA - it was shipping weekend. (all weekend) Special thanks to everyone who helped out! Without you guys, we would've never finished the shipping tonight. Amazing teamwork and endurance - THANK YOU!

We were few shirts short of all the orders up to today - but we'll be getting them shortly. We're going as fast as possible!

Here are some pictures from today. All of our pictures were taken by Kyle Lamy. Make sure to check out more of Kyle's pictures. He's done work in Haiti and has some stunning pictures. If you purchase any of his Haiti pictures, he's agreed to donate all of the proceeds to Haiti.

help haiti.

The events in Haiti are simply devastating. They need help and Doubletake was uniquely positioned to quickly launch a fund raising t-shirt. Needless to say we are happy that we decided to act fast.

Since the shirt launched on Thursday, over $3000 has been raised for Haiti! We are thrilled and hope this momentum can carry forward. Every bit of money we make is going to be doing life changing and life saving work and we know every cent matters. We are working diligently with suppliers and printers to maximize the money raised.

It's refreshing to see so many people willing to help. Doubletake has played only a small role in what is becoming a very special offering to the people of Haiti.

Please continue to share this shirt with people and urge them to support in any way they can. If not through purchasing a shirt through a direct donation to any one of the relief organizations.

Our shirt is currently a pre-order scheduled to close January 22nd but as a little extra incentive we've decided to immediately order shirts when we reach $5000.

Together we can make a difference.
